  I bought approximately 800g of Porterhouse on Friday March 10th. I stored in my fridge set at 2 degrees until Sunday March 12th when I went to prepare dinner. All the pieces had gone a grey colour on one side and as soon as I opened the bag a sour small hit me. It was inedible and I suspect, dangerous to consume. We ordered pizza. On Monday March 13, I went to another butcher to purchase more meat and I asked for this butcher's advice. He said if it was from his shop he would want to know and that small business cannot afford to lose customers over issues like this, no matter how rare they might be. He said to give Butcher's Hook the opportunity to do right by me and their other customers. I called them and had to leave a message as no one picked up the phone. They have not returned my call over 24 hours later.

  Service is second to none. Been buying meat there for a number of years and never been disappointed. Great butcher. Great staff.
